Peacock

The male peacock is such a stunning bird to be inspired by. Artists have looked at photos of the birds and begun with a simple drawing study. There are so many interesting details to attend to such as the headpiece, the tail feathers and the strange markings around the eyes. We are developing our drawings into almost life sized painted peacocks but here are some of our drawings so far.

    Good work, these peacocks are going to look fantastic all painted up! Great to see people trying different angles and different expressions on their birds. Vicki's peacock looks like it's trying hard to tell us something! I wonder what he's trying to say?
